Country Hits You Missed Volume 2 - Various Artists

The Country Hits You Missed series showcases the classic country talents of several of the artists signed to Con Brio Records in the late 70s. In its four-year life, this small independent label achieved considerable national country chart activity and was named Billboard Magazine's "Best New Country Label of the Year" in 1977.

Volume 2 in the series builds on the selections showcased in Volume 1 and highlights the extraordinary talents of Jan Howard(well known Grand Ole Opry performer), songwriters Scott Summer and Chester Lester, and the late Hawaiian singer Sheila Tilton.

The Country Hits You Missed series spotlights some of the finest in classic country music.
